Outline of Research at the Start

アルコール代謝酵素の活性型と飲酒や喫煙などの生活習慣により、急性アルコール中毒、がん、依存症等の健康障害のリスクは異なる。特に代謝酵素の活性型と生活習慣の関連が指摘されている食道がんや口腔・咽頭がんのリスク要因として、喫煙の影響も大きい。本研究は、アルコール代謝酵素の低活性型が予測される対象を中心に、アルコールと喫煙による健康障害予防の簡易介入法を検討し、ランダム化比較試験を実施する。主な目的はアルコール代謝酵素の体質別の留意点や喫煙に関する簡易介入により飲酒習慣や飲酒および喫煙に関する認識の変化を検討すること、飲酒量の経過と飲酒量が増える傾向や影響要因との関連を明らかにすることである。
