Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、「幼児を対象とした自分の生と性を大切にした“生きる力”を育むため
包括的性教育プログラム」を開発し、保育園を中心とした性教育支援システムの構築を検討することである。国際的な性教育の指針である国連の『国際セクシュアリティ教育ガイダンス』(以下、ITSE)には年齢別に性教育の学習目標が示され、幼少期から具体的な性教育を行うことが推奨されている。しかしながらわが国には公的なプログラムはない。そこで本研究では幼児に最も身近な保護者および保育者の性教育に対する健康教育力を高めることを目指し、幼児期からの性教育プログラムを開発し、幼児への性教育支援のシステム構築に向けて検討を行う。
