Outline of Research at the Start

高度な医療的ケアを必要とすることは、成人期以降の医療のみならず、障害福祉サービスを受ける際にも障壁となる。我が国の障害児福祉は、親は福祉における含み資産として、子どものケアの担い手とされてきた。医療的ケアの導入によってケアを行う親の緊張や睡眠不足などの報告はなされているが、あくまでも重症心身障害児者を主体としたケアの担い手としての負担である。本研究は、成人した重症心身障害者を介護する親を「ケアラー」として支援の対象と捉え、1．ケアラーの生活実態を明らかにする、2．ケアラーを支援する方法を明らかにする、3．ケアラー支援モデルを作成する、3つを目標とする。
