本研究は、心筋症と診断され慢性的経過をたどりながら生活している子どもと家族の病気認知と体験、生活の現状と課題、成長発達や病状の変化に伴う経過を明らかにし、さらに、小児循環器疾患の診療・看護に携わる医師・看護師の診療と看護実践を調査することにより、看護モデルを構築することを目的とする。
第1段階では心筋症と診断され慢性的経過をたどりながら生活している子どもと家族の病気認知と体験、生活の現状と課題、成長発達や病状の変化に伴う経過を明らかにし、第2段階で一般化する。第3段階では診療や看護に携わる医師・看護師による診療・看護の実際を明らかにする。第4段階では具体的な看護実践内容を抽出しモデル化する。
