本学では開学以来，大学独自のカリキュラムとして災害・救急，在宅，地域という応用3分野を設定し，学生の関心のある分野をより深く追求できるようになっている．次年度より本学の災害・救急看護研究センターが3年計画で施設の拡大とシミュレーター等の機器を含めた学習環境の充実を行う事業が開始となり，看護学生への災害看護教育の充実を図ることとなっている．この機会に，これまで積み重ねてきた災害看護教育のプログラムを検証し，体系的に原子力災害を含めた災害看護を学ぶプログラムとして開発・公表したいと考える．
