老健で発生している誤薬の内容とその要因を質問紙調査で明らかにする。その結果を基に研究協力を得られた老健と共に、誤薬対策システム開発にを開発。それを実施することで誤薬防止への有効性を確認する。有効性を確認後、必要な改善策を検討する。
