子育て支援施策が拡充する中、専門職が何らかの育児支援を要すると判断したものの、支援の利用につながらない親の存在が指摘されており、このような親に対する支援方策を構築することは喫緊の課題である。これを解決するため、援助要請行動(親が育児に関する悩みについて公的または私的な支援者に相談すること)のプロセスに焦点をあてたアプローチが注目されるが、実践に活用できるエビデンスは乏しい。
本研究は、育児の悩みについて5タイプの想定事例を設定し、援助要請行動と援助要請意図・態度の関連および援助要請行動の促進要因を明確化することを目的とする。これにより、支援をためらう親の心理を考慮した支援方法の構築をめざす。
