Outline of Research at the Start

高齢者の睡眠時無呼吸を見過ごさず、効果的なSASの探索と治療を行うために、従来の睡眠時無呼吸とそれに対するCPAP治療、ICTを用いた遠隔モニタリングといった診療とともに、患者の症状、QOL、睡眠、栄養、身体活動性もケアし、効果的な探索と治療に結び付くようスコアリング化を行うことで、心血管イベント・交通事故による死亡率の減少や認知機能・身体活動性の維持に寄与し、97%にも及ぶ見過ごされた高齢SAS患者の健康寿命延伸に繋がる良好な診療とケアが融合した包括的な医療構築を行う。
