Outline of Research at the Start

認知症の行動心理症状（BPSD）は、高頻度に生じ、本人の予後を悪化させ、家族の介護負担を重くさせるため、予防法や介護方法に関する研究開発が「共生社会の実現を推進するための認知症基本法」の中に策定されている。BPSD発症には生物学的要因、心理学的要因、社会的要因など複数の要因が関与し、相互に影響を及ぼしている。しかし、これまで上記3要因が独立して個々に研究されてきたため、コンセンサスは得られておらず、発症機序は不明である。本研究では、脳画像統計解析（生物学的要因）、病前性格との相関解析（心理学的要因）、生活環境の要因分析（社会的要因）の結果を包括的に検討し、BPSDの発症機序を明らかにする。
