Outline of Research at the Start

術後せん妄 (POD) の予防は，高齢患者及びその家族の生活や生命の質を維持・向上するだけでなく，医療費の増大を抑えることにもつながる。POD予防対策は，ハイリスク患者の的確なスクリーニング，不眠・不穏に対する適切な薬物療法，POD発症の誘発・促進因子の減少が必要である。また，効果的な二次予防対策も必要である。
そして，POD予防対策には多職種チームによる多因子介入が必要である。そこで本研究は，高齢患者を生活者としてとらえ，生活モデルに基づく看護師中心の多職種チームにより，家族のエンパワメントを活用した高齢入院患者の術後せん妄を予防できる有用な介入方法を検討することを目的とする。
