Outline of Research at the Start	高齢者は加齢や疾患への罹患により口腔機能の衰えをきたしやすく、その状態を放置すると口腔機能低下、摂食嚥下障害を経て心身機能低下にまでつながる。要支援や軽度要介護（要介護1・2）の段階で口腔機能低下の徴候を早期発見し対処することで、介護予防・要介護の重度化を防ぐことができる。本研究では、要支援・軽度要介護高齢者の口腔の健康と精神心理・社会的要因との関連を明らかにし、口腔機能の維持・向上のための支援について示唆を得ること、また、高齢者ケアの現場における口腔管理の現状や課題を明らかにすることを目的とする。
