Outline of Research at the Start

研究目的は、指向性スピーカーシステムを使用した認知症患者の認知機能改善のための継続的ケア方法の評価及び開発である。現在、日本は世界で最も高い高齢化率を示している。高齢化と共に難聴有病率は増加し、65歳以上の高齢者では50%に難聴があり、28％に認知機能障害がある。また聴力レベルが10dB悪いと認知症の発症が1.27倍になる。このような状況において、認知症患者の認知機能改善のケア方法を検討することは重要である。認知症患者の看護ケアに、指向性スピーカーを用いて継続したケアを実施することで、認知機能や臨床症状が改善すると考えた。本研究ではその継続した看護ケアの効果を、心理尺度を用いて評価する。
