Outline of Research at the Start

大規模災害時に効率・効果的な支援を迅速に行うためには、どのような健康状態の被災者が、どこに、何人いるのか等、被災者の全体像を把握する必要がある。本研究では、現在開発中の仕組み「COACHES」を、災害訓練や、実災害の被災地において試験的に用いることにより、大規模災害時に被災者のニーズと分布を正確にとらえ、支援に役立てることができるかを実証的に検証する。今回は、アレルギー食や特殊ミルク、衛生材料、一般用医薬品など、被災者の健康維持に必要な物品のニーズ把握と供給の可能性を検証することに焦点を置く。この研究の過程で明らかになった課題をもとにシステムの改良を行い、COACHESの早期実用化を目指す。
