Outline of Research at the Start

増加する男性介護者は、様々な課題を抱えながら孤立しやすく、介護生活がいきなり破綻するハイリスク集団であり、続柄別に支援する必要性がある。また、認知症者を介護する男性介護者は多く、認知症者の介護では様々な決定事項があり、代理意思決定者となる家族に対する支援も重要となる。
認知症高齢者を介護する家族に対するエンドオブライフケアにおいて、男性介護者という性別に加えて、夫や息子という続柄別の特徴に焦点を当てた研究はこれまで見当たらない。
本研究の目的は、認知症高齢者を介護する男性のエンドオブライフケアにおける続柄別特徴を明らかにし、その特徴を踏まえたエンドオブライフケアモデルを構築することである。
