Outline of Research at the Start

脳血管障害や交通外傷による脳損傷後に遷延性意識障害が残存することがある。画期的な治療法がなく、回復が難しいため意思疎通の取れないまま一生寝たきり状態となることが珍しくない。本研究はその治療として経頭蓋直流電気刺激(tDCS）を用いることで脳神経細胞を最も活性化する効果的な刺激部位、強度を明らかにし、より効果的なテーラーメイドのニューロリハビリテーションシステムを構築することを最終目的としている。
