当施設に脳腫瘍手術目的に入院した患者で，有効な自動車運転免許を所持し，独歩可能で日常生活動作が保たれている患者を対象とする．計測はドライビングシミュレータ測定，神経心理学的検査を行う．年齢性別を調整した健常者においても同様に測定し，患者群と比較する．これまでの解析では，患者群において日常生活動作が保たれていても運転能力が低下している可能性が示唆された．今後は患者群のシミュレータ成績と脳画像解析との結果と合わせて，自動車運転が許可できる脳病変および運転にリスクを伴う脳病変についての検証を行っていく．
