Outline of Research at the Start	健常若年者を対象とし、運動感覚情報または視覚情報を用いて運動を教示した後に、教示した時とは異なるモダリティの感覚情報（運動感覚情報または視覚情報）を用いて提示し、教示した運動と提示した運動が一致しているかどうか、運動感覚情報と視覚情報の照合を求めるワーキングメモリ課題を課し、その際の脳活動領域を機能的MRIにより同定し、運動に関するワーキングメモリにおける運動感覚情報と視覚情報の統合の神経基盤を解明する。そして、健常高齢者を対象として同様の機能的MRI実験を実施し、健常若年者のデータと比較して加齢による脳活動領域の変化について検討し、その神経基盤に加齢が及ぼす影響を明らかにする。
