Outline of Research at the Start

脳卒中後のうつ（Post Stroke Depression, PSD）は患者の30％程度にみられ，女性に多く，機能回復やADL，IADLに負の影響を与え，死亡率を高めることから，脳卒中リハビリテーションでは重要な問題である．近年，認知症患者の行動・心理症状や乳がん患者のうつ症状に改善効果のある「化粧療法」が注目されている．本研究では，「化粧療法はPSDを改善させ，結果としてADLやIADLの改善を促進させる」との仮説を検証するため，以下の研究課題について取り組む．
1）化粧を行った際の大脳神経活動と気分の変化について明らかにする
2）PSDを改善させる化粧療法プログラムの開発と効果検証を行う
