Outline of Research at the Start	加齢に伴う認知機能及び体力低下には個人の加齢プロセスも影響する。特に認知症は未だ根治療法に至っておらず生活習慣を介した早期予防が重要とされている。運動による認知症予防の期待は高く、近年では腸内環境も認知機能に関連することが示唆されてきた。本研究は地域在住高齢者及び老化促進マウスに運動介入を行い、認知症に関連深い記憶能力に焦点を当て腸内環境との相互作用を明らかにする。
