Outline of Research at the Start	本研究課題では、「骨を刺激して、糖代謝異常を改善する」ことを全体構想としており、骨への機械的刺激と糖代謝をつなぐ機序の一端をオステオカインを介して明らかにする基盤研究を行う。具体的には、①２型糖尿病の骨にどのような骨ひずみ刺激を与えると骨芽細胞からオステオカルシン(OC)が分泌されるか調べ、②そのOCは他臓器・組織（膵臓や骨格筋）にクロストーク作用するか、③インスリン分泌や血糖値改善に寄与するか、両性を対象に検証する。種々の骨ひずみ刺激パターンを用いてそれぞれ効果の現れ方を検証し、骨、膵臓、骨格筋、血液を対象に顕微鏡観察や組織生化学的分析により細胞レベルで評価する。
