Outline of Research at the Start

日本のユーススポーツは、学校運動部活動を中心に発展してきた。だが近年、部活動は活発化し過ぎて活動時間・日数が伸び、生徒と教師を苦しめる「ブラック部活」問題が生じ、 勝利至上主義の弊害を招く競技大会のあり方が見直され、国は部活動の地域移行政策を進めている。なぜ運動部活動は教育問題になるほど過熱化したのか。それを明らかにするため本研究は、戦前から現代にいたるユーススポーツ競技システムの成立・拡大・展開プロセスを実証的に分析することで、教育と競技の関係を理論的に再考することをめざす。
