Outline of Research at the Start

わが国では適性体重を維持している子どもの割合が低下しており、のちの生活習慣病への影響が懸念されている。健康教育は十分に実施されている一方で、行動変容に繋がっていない。本研究では中学生を対象に、行動変容に必要な知識は定着しているのか質問紙を用いて調査を行い、行動変容に必要な２つの知識である動機づけの知識、実践に役立つ知識の実態を明らかにする。加えて、行動科学の手法「ナッジ」を用いた知識と情報の普及で行動変容が起こるか検証を行う。多くの健康課題を抱える中学生において、生活習慣の改善や適性体重の維持を促すことは、わが国の健康課題である「男性の肥満」「若年女性の痩せ」の解決に繋がることが期待できる。
