Outline of Research at the Start	慢性腎臓病の病態進展と心血管疾患による死亡リスクの増加は問題となっている。腎機能低下による高リン血症が血管石灰化を引き起こすと考えられている。内皮間葉移行やフェロトーシスが病態進展に関与していると考えられるが、慢性腎臓病における高リン血症と内皮間葉移行、フェロトーシスとの関連は不明である。また、慢性腎臓病や高リン血症の治療には食事、栄養管理が非常に重要であるが、その効果の詳細な作用機序については解明されていない。慢性腎臓病病態進展にともなう血管石灰化について血管内皮細胞の病態変化として知られている内皮間葉移行およびフェロトーシスに着目して血管石灰化の作用機序解明を目指す。
