Outline of Research at the Start	本課題は、肝組織の線維化に関与するマクロファージの活性化および形質転換におけるNrf2システムの役割を解明することで、NAFLD/NASHの病態進行抑制および予防・治療法開発への展開を目指すものである。本課題を遂行するために、NAFLD/NASHのモデルマウスおよびヒト臨床検体を用いて、① Nrf2の酸化ストレス抑制における役割、② マクロファージの活性化/形質転換におけるNrf2の役割、③ Nrf2による炎症性サイトカイン・細胞外マトリックス合成/沈着の制御、④ Nrf2による肝線維化進展の抑制の解明を目標に研究を行う。
