Outline of Research at the Start

ビタミンDは骨ミネラル代謝に不可欠な栄養素である。胎児発育にも重要と考えられる。
近年の質量分析技術の発展により、ビタミンDには、エピ体とよばれる生物学的活性の低い光学異性体が存在することが明らかになった。今までの免疫学的測定法ではエピ体を区別できず、その影響は検討されていなかった。本研究は、児の体格変化の機序として、ビタミンD及びその代謝物と胎児のDNAメチル化の関連をゲノム網羅的に検証すことと、母体血中のエピ体の増加に、腸内細菌が関与するか検証する。
