Outline of Research at the Start

心房細動（AF）のリスク因子である肥満において，炎症がAF病態に寄与することが知られている．しかし，肥満に関連したAF発症に寄与する炎症を惹起させる標的分子や機序は十分に解明されていない．肥満や高脂肪な食事の過剰な摂取による肝臓での炎症惹起やヘパトカインの分泌変化やAF患者においてもヘパトカイン変化が報告されているが，ヘパトカインとAF発症機序の関係は不明である．本研究では，肥満における肝臓での炎症を介したヘパトカイン分泌変化がどのようにAF発症機序と関連するかを明らかにすることで肝臓を標的とした新たなAF治療基盤の確立を目指す．
