Outline of Research at the Start	「記憶能力や運動機能」を健常に保つために必須の栄養素としてn-3系の多価不飽和脂肪酸ドコサヘキサエン酸(DHA)が知られている。しかし、その具体的神経機能は未解明である。本研究は、DHAを分子内に持ち、かつ、脳に特異的に存在する稀なリン脂質1-ドコサヘキサエノイル-2-パルミトイルホスファチジルコリン(DHAPPC) について、①神経細胞における局在、②生合成に関わる酵素、③DHAPPCが作る膜領域に集積する機能性膜蛋白質群を解明する。
