Outline of Research at the Start

がん関連疲労は、がん患者において発生頻度の高い症状であり、がんサバイバーが就労を継続させる上で最も大きな課題となる症状である。つまり、がんとの共生のあり方を考える上で、がん関連疲労の予防・治療法の確立することは喫緊の課題と言える。本研究では、担がんモデルマウスを用いて、腫瘍によって誘発される疲労と難消化性オリゴ糖の投与による抗疲労作用のメカニズムを明らかにし、がん関連疲労を回避しながらがん治療を継続する新たな栄養療法の提示を目指す。
