Outline of Research at the Start	ビタミンDの不足・欠乏は全世代に高頻度にみられる問題である。特に若年女性のビタミンD栄養状態は低く、妊娠期・授乳期においては母親自身のみならず胎盤・母乳を介した胎児、乳児への影響が危惧される。ビタミンD栄養改善が強く望まれるが、母乳中ビタミンD濃度は30年前の1/2に低下し、むしろ悪化している。本研究では、以下に挙げる栄養疫学研究と基礎的研究を融合させ、理論的かつ効率的な授乳婦・乳児のビタミンD栄養改善に貢献する。①ビタミンD補給によるビタミンDおよび25-hydroxyvitamin Dの短期乳汁分泌に関する検討（疫学的研究）②乳腺におけるビタミンD代謝活性化分泌に関する検討（基礎的研究）
