Outline of Research at the Start

科学技術研究の成果は文献、すなわち科学論文、特許技術文献のような形で発表されることが多い。本研究では科学技術文献の引用・被引用関係や共著者関係などの長年にわたるデータを用いて、その生成構造を分析し、それらの結果から文献生成構造や著者の特徴抽出に対する新しい統計手法を構築することを目的とする。文献には分野、著者の所属や発表年などの共変量が伴い、さらに偶然性や流行などの恣意性が含まれるが、それらを考慮してモデル化するには大規模で複雑な非定形データに対する統計学手法が必要である。本研究ではグラフ生成確率モデルと非負値行列分解の手法を中心として用いる。
