Outline of Research at the Start	抗癌剤の臨床開発過程では，その最大耐用量（毒性に耐え得る最大用量）の同定を目的として「用量探索試験」が実施される．このような用量探索試験では，最大耐用量を高い精度と確度で同定することが必要である．このために必要な標本サイズは，これまでシミュレーションを繰り返して場当たり的に探索されていた．本研究では，そのようなシミュレーションに依らない，正確な確率計算を用いて決定する方法を開発する．
