Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では，マイクロサービス技術を核とする学術研究基盤のサービス化およびファブレス化の推進に向けた研究を実施する．具体的には，(1) Kubernetesのネットワークプラグイン（CNI）およびサービスメッシュ技術の高度化，および(2) 学術研究基盤へのサービスメッシュ技術の適用に関する研究を実施し，情報科学分野に限らず，さまざまな分野の研究者を既存のスーパーコンピュータやその他の大型計算機運用の制約から解放し，サービスの水準を計算資源の提供からより直接的な研究支援へと高め，研究環境に自由な選択肢を与えることを目標とする．
