Outline of Research at the Start	AIによる画像生成、高速・大容量通信の実現、撮像表示装置の高性能化を背景に、映像視聴トラヒックは現状でも全トラヒックの過半数を占め、さらなる増加が予想されています。次世代において各端末で高品質な画像をそのままに視聴するために、画像の可逆圧縮符号化の再検討は避けることはできません。我々は、これまでの研究を通じ、スライス連長符号化と名付けた整数符号化の発想転換の糸口を掴みました。本課題では、高速演算との親和性の高いハール変換に注目し、あらゆる画像信号に実用的な水準で展開可能な信号の可逆符号化アプローチの構築を目指します。
