患者と医療者の信頼関係は治療を行う上で基本となるものだが、急性期疾患に罹患すると身体的状態・精神的状態の急激な変動により、既存のコミ ュニケーション手段の行使がしばしば困難となり、関係性の構築に支障が生じる。このコミュニケーションの障壁を克服するためのアプローチとして「アクセシビリティ」 が注目されており、急性期医療の現場におけるアクセシビリティ環境の整備は、 現代医療の要請としての「患者中心のケア」の実現を目指す上での必須の課題となっている。本研究は、 急性期患者とのコミュニケーション手段の確立のための、 ICU・HCUにおけるアクセシビリティ環境の整備条件を明らかにすることを目的とする。
