Outline of Research at the Start	複数のビデオカメラで周囲から対象物体を撮影した多視点映像から生成される自由視点映像は、自由に移動する視点位置からリアルタイムで対象物体を見ることを可能とする。また、プロジェクションマッピング（ＰＭ）は、実物体の表面上に仮想物体の映像を投影することで、モニタ等の表示装置を用いず、裸眼による仮想物体の鑑賞を可能とする。本研究では、我々による既提案の「実背景の投影による視点依存ＰＭ」と自由視点映像生成の技術を融合した自由視点ＰＭ技術を開発し、遠隔地の対象物体の実在感を高める高品質な３Ｄテレプレゼンスを実現する。
