Outline of Research at the Start

高齢者人口の増加に伴い、認知症は世界的な懸念事項となっている。近年、軽度認知障害（MCI : Mild Cognitive Impairment）と呼ばれる認知症を発症する前の予備段階が注目されている。認知症への進行を防ぐためには、MCIの早期発見が重要となる。本研究では、大型スクリーンへ投影した視覚探索課題遂行中の上肢リーチング動作を計測できるシステムを構築する。このシステムを使用して計測された上肢・体幹の運動学パラメータから、MCI高齢者のスクリーニングが可能か検証する。
