Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題の目的はマルチモーダルな比喩生成（比喩的思考）と創造性の関連，視覚と言語に関わるマルチモーダルな課題における比喩生成機構の創造性支援の可能性に関する検証である．画像刺激に対する比喩生成と創造性の関連性を神経科学的アプローチでの検討を行うとともに，視覚と言語に関わるマルチモーダルな課題に関し，比喩生成機構を持たせたシステムの構築・計算機実験により，比喩的思考（比喩生成機構）が創造性に与える影響を定量的に検証する．さらに，得られた知見を統合し，マルチモーダルな比喩的思考による創造性支援の可能性について検討する．
