Outline of Research at the Start

SNSのようにフォロア(強い紐帯)の多い人物に人々がアクセスすることで形成される社会ネットワークにおいてエコーチャンバーなどの閉鎖的な構造が現われ、近年深刻な問題となっている。このことは、ネットワークへの参入規則としての強い紐帯の強さの重要性に見直しを迫る。
そこで本研究では、弱い紐帯の強さ(新規な情報は弱い紐帯をもつ他者からもたらされるという仮説)に注目し、ネットワークへの参入規則に弱い紐帯の強さを含めた社会ネットワークの定量的分析を行う。特に、弱い紐帯の強さを間接効用として参入規則に導入した数理モデルを構築することで、弱い紐帯の強さが社会ネットワークの構造形成に及ぼす影響について解析する。
