Outline of Research at the Start

磯焼けの拡大や気候変動に伴う海藻種遷移によって，藻場生態系の物質フローがどう変わり，生態系を構成するベントス相や水環境にどのような影響を及ぼすかの検討を本研究の目的とする。具体的には次の3点を検討したい。
（1）藻場に吸収・貯留されていた有機炭素等は，磯焼けによりどれくらい水環境に回帰するのか?
（2）磯焼けによる藻場からの炭素フラックスの減少に伴い，地先のベントス相はどのような影響をうけるのか?
（3）気候変動により，在来海藻種のコンブが，温帯性のアラメに入れ替わった場合，地先の水環境やベントス相にどのような影響を及ぼすのか?
