Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、船舶の省エネルギー的な運航の実現に向けて、これまでに開発してきた有機-無機ハイブリッド化手法を新たに船底塗料に適用し、低摩擦抵抗及び海棲付着生物抑制効果がある有機高分子と強度および耐食性を持つ無機化合物を分子レベルで混合（分子分散）することにより、これまでに報告されていない新規な低摩擦抵抗及び海棲付着生物抑制効果を有するバイオミメティック有機-無機ハイブリッド船底塗料の創製を目指す。さらに、海水摩擦抵抗の測定に水晶振動子マイクロバランスを用いた新規な測定法を適用し、その確立を目指す。
