Outline of Research at the Start

Japan's EV push creates a future wave of used batteries. How should we manage them sustainably? Reuse and recycle the batteries locally? Export the secondhand EVs to developing countries? We propose a new environmental and socio-economic assessment framework to facilitate the policy discussion.
