Outline of Research at the Start

日本の環境政策研究における重要な学術的「問い」とは，「戦後日本の環境政策はどのように形成されてきたのか」というものである。この学術的「問い」を究明するために，本研究では，1950~1970年代に環境汚染や健康被害への即応性ある対応が主であった環境政策が，今日では成長戦略として位置付けられるようになった劇的な変化に特に注目し，戦後日本において，成長戦略としての環境政策が形成されてきた歴史的過程を，1950~1970年代，1980年代，1990~2015年，2015年以降という4つの時期区分のもとで，中央（政財官界）動向，地域動向，国際動向という3つの視角から考察する。
