Outline of Research at the Start	人口が密集する都市型の国際観光地において、居住者のみならず旅行者に対しても科学的エビデンスにもとづいた感染症情報が提供され、可視化されていることは、感染症マネジメントとして極めて重要である。本研究は東南アジア諸国で共通して課題となってるデング熱などの蚊媒介性ウイルス感染症に着目し、２つの都市型国際観光地であるシンガポールおよびマレーシアペナン州を対象とする。それぞれの世界遺産地区およびその周辺で臨地調査を行い、感染症情報の提供と可視化の背景にある制度上の、政治的な、歴史的なあるいは社会的な影響を解き明かす学際的な地域研究を展開する。
