Outline of Research at the Start	国内農山村で遊休農地や荒廃した里地が増加するなか、本研究では、半栽培という在来知を、１）地域の風土特性を活かしながら労働力・資材の投入を抑える資源保全・活用の手法として再評価し、２）その生産物を地域の自然環境-文化-食が有機的に連関した地域資源として活用する方法の構築を目指す。具体的には、高知県内２ヶ所で自生・半野生化した作物を対象に、在来知の収集とそれに基づいた実践による実地試験を行う。大豊町東豊永地区ではコンニャクを対象に除草・防草による半栽培手法を、黒潮町馬荷地区では火入れによる半栽培手法をそれぞれ解明する。また、国内のコンニャク生産地を比較し、その粗放栽培を支える諸条件を明らかにする。
