インド各地にある様々な民族学博物館・美術館を訪れ、キュレーターや研究者、また展示物を制作するトライバル・アーティストへのインタビュー、およびインド人類学局（Anthropological Survey of India）の調査資料などを用いて、イギリス植民地から現代までの部族文化表象の変化とその政治的意味について研究する。
