Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、水産資源の持続的な利用に重要な役割を果たすRegional Fisheries Bodies (RFB) を研究対象とする。タンザニアにはビクトリア湖、タンガニイカ湖等の複数国にまたがる国際湖がある。これら国際湖の利用調整に重要な役割を果たすのがLake Tanganyika Authority (LTA) およびLake Victoria Fisheries Organization (LVFO)だ。LTAやLVFOが資源保全に果たす役割を調査し、タンザニア本土とザンジバルの間で適切な利用調整がされず、漁業現場に各種混乱をきたしているインド洋海域の利用調整に必要な施策を検討する。
