Outline of Research at the Start	中華人民共和国の起点となる建国期（1949－57年）における民族問題への実証研究はまだ不十分だといえる。本研究では、朝鮮戦争との関係が深く、少数民族への社会主義改造のお手本とされた東北地域の朝鮮族に照準して、その政治的・社会的な背景を含めての少数民族統合の実態を解明し、それを歴史的な文脈に位置付けることを目標とする。そのために、①朝鮮族への農業集団化、②「朝鮮族」として「中華民族」に包摂されていくプロセス、③東北地方当局の民族政策、④朝鮮戦争が朝鮮族統合に与えた影響を明らかにする。
