Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、原爆の記憶と核廃絶をめぐるインターローカル（間地方的）な越境協力がアジア地域に拡大・展開する過程と要因の実態を解明し、それがサブリージョナルな公共的記憶の創造にいかなる役割を果たすのかを理論・実証の両面から分析・予測することを目的とする。具体的には、広島・長崎両市が推進する「平和首長会議」を題材に、(１)アジア諸国・地域の諸都市が加盟し地理的に拡大する過程、(２)フィリピン・モンテンルパおよびタイ・バンコクがリーダー都市に就任し南南都市協力が展開する過程等を追跡し、(３)各都市の政策担当者および市民の両次元における原爆の記憶と核廃絶に対する認識・期待の動態を深耕する。
