Outline of Research at the Start

米軍基地変容と共に歩んできた沖縄の労働問題は本土復帰五十年を経てもなお深刻で根深い。賃金のジェンダー差は小さいが、本土とは異なる複雑で切実なジェンダー問題を内包するため、歴史・地政学・社会文化的な変動を踏まえ、統計や文化表象を批判的に読み解き、丁寧に考察する必要がある。ジェンダー問題の解決や歴史的検証のためには散逸や消失が懸念される戦後沖縄の歴史的資料群の社会還元が喫緊の課題である。本研究はA)個別資料精査、B)資料集作成とデジタルアーカイブ化、C)戦後沖縄の女性労働に関する一次資料の保存・公開方法の確立を通して、各資料群を社会還元化する具体的モデル・資料共有ネットワークの構築を目指している。
