Outline of Research at the Start

今日、宝塚（少女）歌劇（1940年に宝塚歌劇団と改称、ここでは宝塚（少女）歌劇と総称する）は、「少女」向けだと見なされがちである。出演者を女性に（その歴史の多くで）限定しているとはいえ、創設者の小林一三は男性である。また、戦前においては、演出家等の作り手は男性であり、観客も時期によっては男性の方が多かった。本研究は、宝塚(少女)歌劇の作り手側の意図、並びに、受容者である「少年」への影響を考察することで、男性性に対するステレオタイプなジェンダー観の超克を目指すものである。
